Yes, gardening in the estate is encouraged. Please refer to the detailed rules of conduct, as well as the estate guidelines on which plants and trees are preferred. The gardening service, which is included in the levy, maintains the common property gardens and landscaping.
No, the plots in the estate are single residential, full title stands, while the Haven is a sectional title development. Ownership of the plot or unit is registered in your name upon transfer.
As the property forms part of your fixed assets, it is handled in the same way as any other property which forms part of your estate. Whenever ownership of the unit/house changes, 5% of the selling price of the property is paid into the village’s levy reserve fund.
Whenever you wish to sell the property, you’ll be able to sell it to anyone you wish at a market related price. Each unit/house is equipped with an emergency call system to call for emergency medical and security assistance. The cost of the emergency response is included in the levy. The health care operator will be able to assist, at an additional cost, if ongoing or temporary care is required.
Yes, from the 01 March 2017. When residents join one of the regular trips there is a minimal charge to cover fuel costs. Unfortunately, it is not a taxi service and not intended for use inside the estate, or private use.

Although house owners/residents are welcome to hire their domestic worker, the village offers a cleaning service at an hourly rate. This can be arranged with village management at reception. Home owners (free standing houses) must arrange fire insurance for their property, as well as insurance for their personal household items. The levy only covers common property items. The owner levy for the Haven apartments include fire insurance for the unit, as well as a contribution for maintenance. Personal household items are not covered by the owner levy.
